This Morning star Dan Hatfield has revealed he received a rather scary call from bosses after he took something from the show.
The pawnbroker has been a regular on the hit ITV show for years – winning viewers over thanks to his impeccable and top-notch money advice.
But Dan’s journey on This Morning didn’t exactly start off as smoothly as he had hoped.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Dan gushed about his time on the long-running ITV show, revealing he is “very, very lucky” to be a part of it – calling it a “dream come true.”
“I’ve done quite a bit of TV and This Morning is by far my favourite,” the pawnbroker said.
However, according to Dan, who also appears on ITV’s Million Pound Pawn, things took an awkward turn shortly after his interview for the job on the show.
“I went to do an interview with them,” Dan said, when asked how his This Morning gig came about.
He went on: “Dermot and Alison had me on the sofa and we were chatting and everything was great.”
But shortly after, Dan was left fearing he was in trouble after receiving a call from someone at This Morning.
“I got in my car afterwards to come back home, and I’d taken a couple of bottles of water for the journey back.”
On the way back, Dan received a “phone call from a number I didn’t know.”
He explained: “It was one of the editors from This Morning and they asked me where I was.
“I thought that I was getting in trouble cos I had taken a couple bottles of water with me,” he quipped.
However, it was a false alarm and actually, the editors were calling up to give him some good news.
He revealed: ”They phoned up to ask if I’d be interested in doing more segments.”
As for his time on the show, Dan had nothing but kind words to describe his experience, revealing: “This Morning has really welcomed me with open arms. It’s lovely to be a member.”
Dan recently tied the knot with producer beau Joff – and a certain member of the This Morning team even got a sneak peek at the rings.
“Alison and Holly have been really supportive on the run up to the wedding, they’ve both been giving me loads of advice,” Dan told the Daily Star.

He added: “Alison had a look at the rings beforehand and gave me her opinion on it.”
Showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, Dan is also writing a book at the moment – determined to help people out during the current financial crisis.
“It’s going to be a book that’s going to help people make money out of their everyday environment, look at the items and they own, and the interest they got, and turn that into a way they can make money,” he said.
This Morning airs ITV1 and ITVX at 10am
