This Morning’s Andi Peters shocks Rochelle Humes with savage swipe at The Saturdays | The Sun

THIS Morning host Andi Peters left Rochelle Humes open-mouthed today after taking a savage swipe at her former group The Saturdays.

His cheeky jibe came after the presenters marvelled at a studio performance from the cast of West End musical Six.

The historical piece of theatre reimagines the story of Henry VIII's six wives who have taken the form of a contemporary pop group vying to figure out who suffered the most while wed to the gluttonous monarch.

Rochelle enthused: "Oh my gosh, I want to be in this band."

Andi quickly added: "Cos they're better than the last one."

He grinned as Rochelle gave him a gentle shove, her mouth agape.

After the ad break Rochelle joked Andi nearly suffered the same fate as one of the royal wives as her co-star declared his love for The Saturdays.

Rochelle spent seven years in The Saturdays alongside Frankie Bridge, Una Healy, Mollie King, and Vanessa White.

Among the girls' best-known songs are the chart smashes If This Is Love, Just Can't Get Enough and Forever Is Over.

Having sold more than 5million records domestically, the group went on hiatus in 2014. Its members have since gone on to launch successful presenting and reality TV careers.
