Tipping Point viewers were left fuming after their TV broadcast was interrupted by a technical error mid-episode.

As viewers were watching the second quarter of the ITV gameshow, hosted by Ben Shephard, they were reeling when their TV’s froze and the show and went “off-air” at a pinnacle point in the episode.

As two players began answering questions in the semi-final, fans took to Twitter in their droves to see if anyone else had experienced the tech blunder.

“Did anyone’s else’s tv go off air? #tippingpoint,” asked one viewer.

“Yes – just stopped on ITV all other channels working,” replied another fan.

More joined in, complaining that there’s went off also.

“Yes just ITV! Other all working fine!! Annoying!”

Another added: “Mine did! Back now! And right as they were answering their questions!”

The episode soon resumed, as players Kane and Elaine battled it out to secure their place in the final.

Fans blasted the show’s “easy” questions, with some saying the show had dumbed down the questions to encourage higher scores.

One question in particular sparked outrage, after Ben asked: “What letter comes after Y in the alphabet?”

A fan responded: “What letter comes after Y? WHO THE F*** WRITES THIS CRAP?!! #TippingPoint.”

Another raged: “What letter comes after Y? Are you fu**ing kidding?” A third echoed: “What letter comes after Y” Fu**ing hell.”

Player Kane made it through to the final after a series of lucky drops. Fans were quick to comments on the star’s young appearance, questioning if he was even old enough to appear on the show.

“Shouldn’t Kane be at school?" said one viewer.

Another joked: "Kane has got to be home before it’s dark."

Another assumed that because he wone a mystery prize consisting of a case of wine, he must be of legal age.

“Kane looks very young doesn’t he? He just won some booze so assuming he’s over 18.”
