Unexpected ITV host named as UKs richest presenter with £18.6million fortune

The Chase: Bradley walks off set as player banks £40,000

Bradley Walsh has been revealed as the wealthiest presenter in British television with a fortune of £18.6million to his name.

Over the past 12 months, the 62-year-old has racked up a huge £3.5million, according to the latest figures from his WingIt Productions firm.

With the huge boost in assets, it resulted in Bradley becoming the UK’s richest television presenter, beating the likes of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly and This Morning’s Holly Willoughby.

A TV insider called The Chase star the “go-to” man for broadcasters and hinted there are no signs of Bradley going anywhere soon.

They told Daily Mail: ‘Bradley really is at the top of his game right now and is raking it in.

“He’s firmly established himself at the top of his profession and is the go-to man for both the BBC and ITV.

“And that shows no signs of slowing down either, as viewers can’t get enough of him.”

Bradley has fronted many popular game shows including Wheel Of Fortune, Blankety Blank, The Chase and Beat the Chasers.

Since the hit quiz show debuted back in 2009, Bradley has been a staple in the show’s success and has appeared in over 1,000 episodes.

Along with hosting various shows, he’s also starred in the Darling Buds Of May adaptation The Larkins and travelled the world with his son Barney Walsh in ITV’s Breaking Dad.

Later this year, the father-son duo will work together once again when they present the reboot of BBC’s Gladiators.

Although Ulrika Jonsson and John Fashanu hosted the original, viewers will now see Bradley and Barney take the reins.

Speaking about joining the reboot, Bradley seems thrilled to be part of the iconic show, after his wife Donna was the head choreographer for the Gladiators in the 90s series.
