Vera star confirms 'that's a wrap' as they pay tribute to cast and crew in rare behind-the-scenes post | The Sun
VERA star Riley Jones has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the show as he confirms they've wrapped filming.
The actor, who has played the role of Mark Edwards since the very first series, treated fans to a rare look behind the cameras.
Fans of the hit ITV crime drama will know Mark usually stays in the office and does the groundwork for DCI Vera Stanhope.
And in his latest social media post, he confirmed filming on the 12th series has been completed.
The 32-year-old then shared a video montage showing behind-the-scenes pictures from locations the crew filmed Vera at.
He also showed fans a look at his dressing room as he transformed into the role of DC Edwards.

Posting the video, he said: "That’s a wrap on Vera series 12!!!
"Always love jumping into the boots of DC Mark Edwards.
"A big shout out and thank you to all the amazing cast and crew who have poured everything into making this the best series yet. You lot are in for a treat!"
Riley's post got fans excited as they shared how they 'can't wait' for the new series.

"Can’t wait to see what great stories you have prepared for us all. Merry Christmas to all of you in the V12 Team Vera Cast and Crew," said one fan.
Another posted: "Fantastic!!! Can't wait for the new episodes."
"I've seen it since you were a sheriff, of course. I'm looking forward to season 12 as well," said a third.
While a fourth posted: "Can’t wait to catch up with you all again. I love the series, enjoy the break and have a great Christmas."
Brenda Blethyn, who plays the role of lead character Vera, recently shared how she was "emotional" as filming came to an end.
"That’s a wrap on VERA 12," she revealed. "Many thanks to the wonderful Vera team cast and crew. Feel emotional."
The 76-year-old's post amassed over 17,000 likes as fans shared their excitement to the upcoming series.
ITV have yet to confirm when the 12th instalment will broadcast but it's expected to be in January.
