The show sees 12 wacky dancers showing off their skills, and joining them is Onomatopoeia.

Meet The Masked Dancer season two contestant Onomatopoeia.
It is up to the panel of judges to try and guess just who this dancer really is.
Bright character Onomatopoeia is all about words that are associated with sounds.
Wanting to generate a buzz, it could be a telly wordsmith like Countdown’s Susie Dent or songwriter MNEK.
How does The Masked Dancer work?
The Masked Dancer is very similar to its sister show The Masked Singer.
Each week the acts perform a dance routine in an elaborate costume, with the aim of keeping their identity a secret.

As well as performing, each contestant will reveal cryptic clues as to their identity before they dance.

When is The Masked Dancer on TV?
The Masked Dancer gets underway on September 3, 2022.
It will start at 6.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub, and continue on Saturday nights at the same time.
Judges returning to the programme are Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall and they will be joined by Peter Crouch.
