Why did Playboi Carti and Iggy Azalea break up?
On October 23, 2020, Iggy Azalea confirmed she and Playboi Carti had broken up.
Prior to their split, their relationship was plagued with cheating rumors.
Azalea seemingly alluded to the rumors via Instagram, writing, "You lost a real 1… People take loyalty for granted & that's why I'd rather be alone.
"One thing I'll never understand is how liars live with themselves. That s*** don't eat y'all up inside?"
A few hours later, she elaborated, saying, "What I [meant] last night was that I'm raising my son alone & I'm not in a relationship."
How many kids do they have?
Throughout the course of their relationship, Carti and Azalea welcomed one child, son Onyx Kelly, who was born in April 2020.
Since Onyx's birth, Azalea has tried her best to keep him out of the spotlight and even said in July 2021 that she's no longer posting pictures of him online.
"I've decided I won't be posting about Onyx or sharing images online anymore," Azalea wrote on Twitter.

In a previous interview with PEOPLE, she told the outlet that she wants him "to have a chance to be his own person."
"I want him to have his own identity. I don't want him to be so attached to me," Azalea explained.
"I want him to have a chance to be his own person and I don't want people to know him or have an opinion about him before they even meet him or before he's even decided who he is."
"I just hope he turns out to be kind to everyone. That's my biggest thing. I want him to just be kind," she added.
How did Playboi Carti and Iggy Azalea meet?
Carti and Azalea are both successful rappers so it was only a matter of time before their paths crossed.
The pair first met in 2018, while he was overseas on tour
The Atlanta-based rapper shared with The Fader: "Once I started talking to her, I just cut off everybody,” he told the outlet at the time. “It was over with.”
