Boy, 12, dragged to floor and bitten in stomach by dog outside school as cops release CCTV in hunt for owner | The Sun
POLICE are hunting a man after a 12-year-old schoolboy was dragged to the floor by a dog and viciously attacked.
The horror exploded in Loughborough, Leicestershire, outside the Limehurst Academy on Bridge Street at around 2pm on January 24.
The lad was rushed to hospital after sustaining "cuts and bruises" to his stomach in the savage attack.
Cops have now released CCTV of a man they want to speak to following the attack, alleged to be from a Rottweiler-type dog.
A post about the incident was initially shared by the boy's relative on Facebook.
It read: "My nephew, age 12, was attacked by a Rottweiler dog outside Limehurst high school.
"He was seriously injured and cut as the dog dragged him to the ground, shaking him, causing cuts and bruises to his stomach and body needing emergency treatment.
"The man ran off after the dog attack and left my nephew there on the floor own his own scared crying for help, and he ran off."
PC Sam Parr, investigating officer of Leicestershire Police, said: "I would like to speak to the man pictured about this incident.
"I believe he may have information that could assist my investigation.

"I’m appealing to dog walkers who frequent the area where it happened and may recognise him from the clothes he’s wearing or the dog that's with him.
"I’m also appealing directly for the man to get in touch."
