A three-year-old boy was hospitalised after he was struck by a mobility scooter while out with his grandmother.
The toddler was hit last Friday around 3pm in Weston-super-Mare outside Betfred on Boulevard, police have confirmed. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Police have launched a manhunt for the driver who seemingly fled the scene after the crash. The suspect is described as a white man in his 60s with a large build and grey/silver hair.
Avon and Somerset police have asked witnesses to come forward with any information that could aid in their investigation.
