Denver weather: More sunny skies ahead Tuesday

Another day of sunny weather and moderate temperatures is in store Tuesday before the mid-week snow and rain chances Wednesday.

Tuesday will be dry with a high of 46 degrees, a little warmer than Monday, and some light winds will persist through the day.

Overnight, clear skies will help temperatures drop to a 22-degree low.

Wednesday will start out mostly the same as Tuesday, with sunny weather and a warmer high of 52 degrees, but a cold front will bring a 30% chance of light rain after 5 p.m. that could turn to snow overnight. Snow accumulation is expected to only reach a half inch or less.

Winds will pick up overnight as well to 11 to 21 mph and gusts up to 30 mph.

After Wednesday night, Thursday is expected to be cooler with a high of 35 degrees, then Friday will pick back up to 53 degrees. Saturday could even reach the 60s as the area warms up even more.
