Denver weather today: Clear skies ahead through the end of week

Denverites will have clear skies and nice days the rest of the week, as sunny weather is expected through Sunday.

Wednesday has a high of 72 degrees and will be breezy in the afternoon, with wind gusts reaching up to 30 mph.

The humidity Wednesday will be low in the 15% to 20% range, so fire weather conditions could worsen throughout the area with the breezy day. Some portions of the plains could even reach Red Flag levels for a few hours.

A weak cold front in the afternoon, though, will bring some more moisture into the area and relieve some of those conditions.

Wednesday’s low is 40 degrees, and overnight into Thursday morning, patchy frost is possible across some of the plains.

Thursday will be slightly cooler than Wednesday, with a high of 67 degrees and a low of 41 degrees.

Friday will warm up again to 76 degrees, and near-critical fire weather conditions return as humidity drops to as low as 16% and winds could reach up to 40 mph.

Saturday and Sunday highs will cool back down to 68 degrees and 62 degrees respectively.
