ELEVEN people have been injured after a car collided with a crowd at a car meet last night, with four seriously injured.
Humberside Police confirmed that those injured were in a "stable but serious condition" and that a 17-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Cops confirmed that they had attended an industrial estate in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire after the collision last night.
It is believed that a total of 11 people were injured, with four seriously injured and one critically so.
Inspector John Rickells said: "This was a multi-agency incident response and we worked with our emergency service colleagues to provide emergency first aid and establish the circumstances of the incident.
"As part of our investigations, a 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
"At this time our investigations are at a really early stage, and we will release more information when we are able to do so."
As part of his appeal for information, Rickells noted that a number of people are thought to have fled the scene before cops arrived.
He asked anyone with footage or pictures of the crash to come forward immediately.
