Ex-cop Jade Ebanks, 29, appears at court charged with raping woman five times before he joined Met Police | The Sun
A FORMER police officer has appeared in court charged with raping a woman five times before he joined the Met Police.
Jade Ebanks, 29, is accused of attacking the woman over a two-year period.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today charged with five counts of rape.
Three of the alleged attacks took place in Ealing, West London, and the other two in Uxbridge between March 13, 2018, and August 1, 2020.
Ebanks joined the Met in June 2021 and was based in the force's North West Basic Command Unit.
He was suspended from duty after his arrest in May 5 last year.

The ex-cop resigned a week before he was charged on April 28 this year.
Ebanks was granted bail with the condition he does not contact the complainant.
He will next appear at Isleworth Crown Court on June 28 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
