Fears grow for missing 13-year-old schoolgirl who has not been seen since Saturday afternoon

  • Chloe McCabe, 13, has been missing from the Merseyside area for three days
  • The schoolgirl was last seen in Southport around 4pm on Saturday July 9
  • Merseyside Police described her as ‘5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with black hair’
  • Police have issued an appeal and asked anyone with information to get in touch 

Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing schoolgirl in Merseyside.

Chloe McCabe was last seen in the Heysham Road area of Southport at around 4pm on Saturday July 9 – she has been missing for three days. 

The 13 year-old is described as 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police said Chloe was wearing all-black clothing and black Nike trainers with a blue tick.

Chloe is known to frequent the Crosby, Anfield and Liverpool city centre areas.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Chloe and need to make sure she is safe and well. 

They have released a picture of her today and are appealing for information to help find her.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: ‘We are appealing for help in finding a 13 year-old girl who is missing in Southport. 

‘Chloe McCabe was last seen in the Heysham Road area at around 4pm on Saturday 9th July.

‘She is described as being 5ft 4in tall, of slim build, with black hair and brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing all black clothing and black Nike trainers with a blue tick.

‘She is known to frequent the Crosby, Anfield and Liverpool city centre areas.’
