Footage shows the front of a £450,0000 Lamborghini supercar smashed into smithereens after ‘crashing into a bus’ at 4am in central London

A £450,000 Lamborghini supercar has been smashed to pieces after reportedly crashing into a bus in central London in the early hours of the morning.

Footage has emerged showing the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster being loaded onto a pickup truck following the crash outside Circus Underground Station at around 4am on Saturday.

The sports car is understood to have collided with the rear of the bus on the junction of Margaret Street and Regent Street.

The Lamborghini suffered significant damage to its front, with its bonnet also left pointing upwards, while the bus lost part of its right side between the tyre and arches, The Sun reports.

The supercar’s hazard lights were also left flashing following the crash.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed officers were called to the crash in central London.

No serious injuries were sustained in the incident and no arrests were made, a statement added.

Meanwhile, social media users commenting on the video were quick to quip about the incident.
