I caught my neighbour’s naughty kid leaving my hose tap on ALL day… people say they should be made to pay my water bill | The Sun
A WOMAN was left shocked when she caught her neighbours naughty kid leaving her hose tap running on full blast all day.
Catelyn Ellutzi, 21, took to TikTok to share the bizarre story on how she caught the cheeky boy in action.
In a three-minute post, the content creator explained how she was relaxing in her room before hearing suspicious noise coming from behind the walls.
"I hear what sounded like the water pipes in the wall running, I was like that's weird, the showers not on, the washing machines not on, what is that?"
She then explains that she went outside to investigate the strange sounds and stumbled across something shocking.
"The hose is on full blast," she said.

The stunned woman dashed a text to her roommates to let them now that the hose had been spurting and politely requested that the tap be turned off after usage – but no one owned up.
Catelyn let the incident pass but the mysterious mischief maker was back to his tricks just two days later.
"The water faucet was left on full blast again, I don't catch it till I get home at like 8pm that night so it's been on for hours," she said.
But this wasn't the only strange part of the story.

"Not only that, but the hose that connects to that spout has been dragged all the way across the backyard aiming at a cement ditch along our back fence".
She revealed that none of her flatmates owned up to leaving the hose on again, and Catelyn was back to square one.
But before she could move on from the bizarre hose situation, the tap was left running on full blast again – just three days later.
Catelyn then confronted her friend who had potted plants outside, but she swore it wasn't her doing.
The woman thought she was free of the trickster after having a quiet few days but "then lo and behold, this s*** turns on again," she said.
She told viewers how the cement ditch now has a divot from the immense water pressure coming from the open hose.
After numerous repeats of the hose drama, the 21-year-old hit breaking point and took catching the prankster into her own hands.
At first Catelyn and her friends assumed it may have been a homeless person, but later worried that a slider door on their property could mean robbers have an access point.
"So I break," she said, "I drove over to Target and I go buy a freaking camera and I set that s*** up with motion detection, I'm ready to catch them in the act".
The furious homeowner then shared the cheeky footage which showed her neighbours little boy appearing in her garden and turning on the hose.
But in the first clip, the boy retreated with his water gun in hand after realising the hose had been unattached.
Catelyn shared a snip from the next day which saw the "little dude go twist twist twist twist," as he was caught turning on the hose.
The TikToker then made a part two of the "Mystery Of The Outdoor Hose" collection where she told how her roommate texted the boys mum and explained what he had been up to in their garden.
Catelyn said the mother was apologetic and agreed to talk to her son about his water-wasting tricks.
After discussing the situation on the phone, the content creator said she could hear the kids in the back of the call panicking and denying their actions – but Catelyn had the hard footage.
She told how the boy came to their house to apologise for using their water and have Catelyn a bizarre excuse for his antics.
The kid claimed that he was "really interested in water" and said he used theirs because his parents were concerned that if he used their hose then he might break it.
The boy's dad chimed in that his kid had been "trying to fill the creek," which was the cement ditch at the bottom of Catelyn's garden.
Laughing, the woman said that the boys parents offered to pay the difference in their utility bill but they declined as "little kids will be little kids".
Catelyn praised the little boys "energy" but admitted that the whole situation was "frustrating".
The post racked up a mega 65.9k likes and over 800 comments from people who were left in stitches following the reveal.
One wrote: "The parents would have gotten that water bill!"
Another said: "In Australia, water is sooo expensive this would cause a war with the neighbors! Full-out war!"
