I was a struggling mum but now make £45,000 a month with a side hustle – it saved my marriage & I can buy my son a house | The Sun

A WOMAN who was a struggling young mum has shared how she now earns £45,000 a month thanks to a side hustle.

Lola Blake, 28, says her new job not only offered her financial independence and the opportunity to buy a house for her son but it also saved her marriage.

Aussie mum Lola and her husband Andrew, 32 decided to try to spice up their sex life by filming themselves in the bedroom.

While initially, they didn't plan on publishing the material, Lola thought she'd try sharing it on OnlyFans.

The pair went from having sex every few months to every day- and their content attracted followers.

Lola recalls how on their first date ten years ago they watched the movie Sex Tape.

She told Mail Online:"Our first date we had was going to the cinemas to see the movie sex tape which is about a husband and wife filming themselves to spice up their sex life.

"We look back on it now and think it's so funny because back then we would never have guessed we would be where we are now."

The pair had a break from OnlyFans after Lola got pregnant but returned after they realised it could be very profitable side hustle.

Lola continued: "We had a taste of the income OnlyFans could provide and with my background with a degree in marketing and my husband's background in sales we knew we could grow this to be a sustainable and profitable business.

"We were constantly making $3,000 a week for three months as a side hustle.

"That's when we knew if we focused more of our energy on the content creation and promotion we could take it even further."

The pair was eventually making enough money for Andrew to quit his job and they are now excited to get to work together every day.

Lola now has a healthy trust fund for her son and is even planning to buy an investment property and pass it over to her son when he turns 18.

Lola added: "We spend every day together working, raising our child equally committing to the household equally there's no resentment anymore.

"We get excited about work and not just the physical side, we love the business mind-set and drive for success and abundance creating our dream life for our family."

Lola admits that being on OnlyFans means she faced judgement from friends and family.
