ISIS bride Shamima Begum makes shameless new plea to return to UK claiming she’s the ‘voice AGAINST radicalisation’ | The Sun
JIHADI bride Shamima Begum claims she wants to become a "voice against radicalisation" in her latest shameless bid to return to the UK.
The 22-year-old – whose British citizenship was stripped from her in 2019 – claims she wants to be "used as an example" to stop other Brits turning to extremism.
Begum — whose parents were born in Bangladesh — quit Bethnal Green, East London, at just 15 for Syria.
She remains there in at the al-Roj prison camp, but insists she wants to be "as British as possible".
But the former Brit schoolgirl admits she expects to spend the rest of her life in Syria – despite repeated pleas to return to the UK.
Begum tried last year to restore her British citizenship.

But she failed in her bid at the Supreme Court to come back to Britain to fight her case in person.
The law allows citizenship to be removed if it is conducive to the public good.
Once again attempting to convince authorities to let her return to Britain, Begum has declared she could be "used as an example", reports inews.
She said: “The problem is at the age of being a teenager you’re very arrogant and you don’t listen to people so sometimes you really do have to learn the hard way.

“I could be used as an example, like you don’t want to end up like her.

“Tell the kids ‘don’t be like her, don’t become like her’.”
Her latest plea comes amid her fears she will be executed after being told she is to stand trial for terror offences.
Sources say Begum – who has ditched traditional Islamic clothing in place for more Western outfits – is likely to face prosecution after officials ordered a probe into her links to IS.
Allegations against her include that she helped to make suicide bomber vests for IS terrorists.
But Begum claims she was trafficked by IS fighters to be a bride alongside other Brit girls crossing the border.

She added: "It’s hard to believe, but that did happen. It happened so fast, it happened in less than a year."
Last year, Begum claimed the only crime she committed was going to Syria as she told how she was willing to go on trial in the UK.
