Just Stop Oil has once again brought rush hour chaos to central London by ‘slow marching’ through the capital on day three of its fresh ‘campaign of civil resistance’.
The eco-zealots infuriated commuters this morning as they unfurled banners and brought traffic to a standstill in some of the city’s most congested zones.
Video footage shared online showed a group from the eco-mob marching on Waterloo Bridge while chanting ‘insulate Britain!’ – as fuming commuters shouted back obscenities.
Another motorist yelled: ‘I’ve got to go to work!’, as he sat stuck in his car behind a group of protesters, before pleading with a passing policeman: ‘Officer, please help me get to work!’
There have been no arrests so far but Metropolitan Police said in an update on Twitter: ‘At around 09:54hrs, police issued Just Stop Oil protesters in Whitehall conditions under Section 12 of the Public Order Act to move out of the carriageway as their actions now constitute serious disruption, having slow marched in the road for 2 hours, disrupting traffic.’

The force had earlier wrote: ‘Police remain on scene at Just Stop Oil protests at Pall Mall, Waterloo Bridge, Trafalgar Square, Victoria Street and Whitehall.
‘They continue to engage with protesters and reroute traffic where possible to minimise disruption.’
Protesters held placards saying ‘betrayed by my government’, ‘jailed for caring’ and ‘end climate injustice’.
Justifying their protests yesterday, a Just Stop Oil Spokesman said: ‘Let us take the energy we have built from this weekend and channel it into keeping the pressure on this criminally corrupt, genocidal government, day after day, until we all win.
‘We’re calling all those who understand the importance of this moment in history, to step it up.
‘Either we are actively in resistance, on the side of life, or we are complicit with a government that is knowingly enacting policies that threaten the lives of hundreds of millions of people.’
Commuters took to social media on Wednesday morning to vent their frustrations at being delayed by the zealots.
One fumed: ‘Thanks again Just Stop Oil for making the hardworking, tax paying people of London late again and causing more disruption, more fuel and emissions with all the traffic you are causing.
‘The only thing your achieving is p*****g people off.’
It comes after a video shared yesterday by Just Stop Oil showed a man telling the demonstrators to ‘f*** off, every single one of you’ and ‘move out of the way’.

When he rips the banners from the hands of protesters and pushes them to the side of the road, police nearby go to stop him.
One of the uniformed officers then tells the man ‘if you push them, that’s assault – if you do that, that is a crime’, while the commuter can be heard complaining ‘people have got to go to work’.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Conservative MP Peter Bone blasted what he described as ‘upside down’ policing.
He said: ‘There seems to be one rule for protesters and another for hard working individuals who want to go about their job.
In a video taken today a man was told he would be committing assault if he tried to move Just Stop Oil supporters out of the road against their will
‘They can break the law, block roads and do criminal damage, and nothing seems to happen.
‘A motorist who just seems to want to get on with their job is threatened with effectively being arrested.’
The former minister added: ‘At the moment policing seems to be upside down. The people who are breaking the law and obstructing people going about their normal lives, nothing happens to them. The people who just want to get to work are getting into trouble.
‘It’s an Alice in Wonderland situation.’
