Levi Davis has not gone missing ‘voluntarily’, say cops as worried mum breaks silence over X Factor star’s final video | The Sun

COPS investigating the mind boggling disappearance of Levi Davis have revealed he may not have gone missing voluntarily.

The last video he sent to his mum has continued to worry the family as conspiracy theories surrounding his disappearance from Barcelona continue to swirl.

His mum Julie recently plead with her missing child: "I miss you so much son.

"Please know that we are all on your side and that there's nothing to fear as we all have your back and will bring whatever is in darkness back to light."

Levi's haunting voice note sent to one of his close friends is thought to be the last contact he had with anyone before going missing.

He spoke about Barcelona in the voice note: "It's amazing. I'm literally just getting all my inspo. I love it. It's so good."

Catalan police recently said Levi may not be a victim of a crime, but his disappearance doesn't seem to be normal.

They told BBC: "With the information at our disposal, it doesn’t appear that this person has gone missing voluntarily and doesn’t want to be found.

"And it’s important to clarify that the group that’s now investigating this person’s disappearance is not a murder squad or homicide unit because that would mean there is a probability or certainty he is dead."

His mum also spoke about the last video he sent to her, which recently re-emerged.

In the video, Levi is smiling and showing the blue water around him, saying "Look Mum!".

Later that day, he went missing without a trace.

Conspiracy theories online surrounding the ominous last video sent to mum Julie have upset the family as they continue to search for Levi.

Levi's mum said she only knew it had gone public after seeing it online.

She said: "It's very hard to know or distinguish what's true from what isn't.

"Even though Levi is not here, I'm forever watching TikTok videos and stuff, and it just makes me feel like 'oh, he's still here'.

"It just gives me comfort."

A friend of Levi's has also come forward to tell a private investigator working for his family that a message they sent had in fact been read.

Gavin Burrows' Line of Inquiry firm is offering a £10,000 reward for information that could lead to Levi being found.

In the December 15 message, which has been shared with The Sun Online, Levi’s friend pleaded: “Please come home. I love you. And miss you xx.”

Underneath the messages can be seen "Read" – indicating someone has seen it.

The investigator has said his team fears Levi may have drowned after being sought by criminals over a £100,000 debt.

This idea was strengthened by the Bath Rugby star's haunting final Instagram post, in which he claimed he was being blackmailed by criminals who threatened to kill him and his family.

In the video, Levi said: "My name is Levi Davis and my life is in danger. I beg that you listen and try to understand what I’m telling you."

Levi said he “went to the police and I asked them if they could help me” because “something was happening to me and wasn’t something good”.

The rugby-player-turned-reality star performed on X Factor: Celebrity with fellow rugby players Ben Foden and Thom Evans as part of the group Try Star.

In 2020, he starred in the E4 dating series Celebs Go Virtual Dating.
