A MAN is fighting for his life today after he was pushed into a canal by a group of teenagers.

Cops said the 40-year-old, who hasn't been named, was rushed to hospital after being pulled from the water in Skipton, North Yorkshire, just before 10 pm on Friday.

He remains in "critical" condition, while three teens have been arrested.

Investigating officers are urging witnesses or those with relevant information to get in touch with them.

Detective Superintendent Wayne Fox said: "We are aware of concerns about antisocial behaviour in this part of Skipton and the public will have seen a significantly increased police presence in that area in the last two days.
