Parents of the players from the Jewish school asserted that someone said, “Hitler was right” during the fight, while others claim numerous anti-Jewish slurs were hurled.

A witness claimed that several players were injured in the rampage, with one reportedly suffering a concussion after being kicked in the head.

The two religious schools issued a joint statement condemning the fight after the video of the incident began circulating online.

‘The Archdiocese of Miami and Scheck Hillel have zero tolerance for any kind of aggressive language and behavior, antisemitism or hate of any kind,’ the schools said.

‘We are thankful for the faculty of both schools, who immediately managed the situation with care and concern for the students.’

The schools insisted they are investigating the accusations of antisemitism and will take ‘appropriate action’ against the perpetrators.

The chaos reportedly ensued after Scheck Hillel lost the game 2-1, which was being played for a place in the state championship semifinals.

A witness to the fight told Local10 that the Jewish students flew into a rage after they were taunted with antisemitic insults after the match finished.

Tila Levi, a Scheck Hillel parent, said: ‘What my kids told me they said, “Hitler was right”.

‘Words matter. It’s offensive and can lead to violence.’

The parent added that the student who suffered a concussion was ‘kicked in the face with cleats’, with the blow hitting them next to the eye.

Local Reverend Al Jackson Jr, of the new Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, who is not involved with either of the schools, spoke out after seeing footage of the ugly scenes.

‘If we just sweep this under the rug, and say, “Oh! These are just kids being kids,” we risk the dangers of forgetting that kids very soon become adults,’ Jackson said.

He said the incident was alarming and disturbing, and said the video should serve as a reminder that ‘all of us are to treat each other, not just with tolerance, but also with respect.’
