Meghan Markle ‘needs to scrounge for jet-setting lifestyle’, says royal expert

While most would assume that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have an endless pile of money at their disposal, according to a Royal biographer that isn't exactly the truth.

Tom Bower, author of Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, made an astonishing comment against the Duchess of Sussex.

He alleged that she's "money obsessed" and desires a lifestyle filled with riding in luxury cars and flying in "private jets on command".

In an interview with GB News’ Dan Wootton, he claimed Meghan only married Harry for that very reason.

He said: "Her great surprise and disappointment was that Prince Harry had very little money. She had imagined he would be worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and she is having to make up for it now.

"She wants to ride in the big Cadillacs, the private jets on command. At the moment she needs to scrounge for those sorts of things."

Bower has also claimed that the Duke of Sussex is wanting a "private apology" as a means to end the "toxic stalemate" with King Charles and Prince William.

But hopes for the Duke of Sussex receiving such an apology may have fallen on deaf ears as one insider believes the Prince of Wales and his father have "no intention of saying sorry".

It is also understood that the King is adamant on having both sons present for his coronation in May.

That may prove difficult as the Harry and Meghan are yet to decide on their attendance, and it may rest in the hands of a potential apology with Bower declaring: "Harry has been very clear and his position hasn't wavered – he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral."

The Daily Star has approached the Duchess of Sussex for comment.
