Trio of men pull off Ocean’s 11-style heist in TESCO to steal £2,000 of alcohol

Police are searching for a trio of men who stole £2,000 worth of alcohol during a Ocean’s 11-style heist in Tesco. 

Detectives believe the men worked as a team to snag a large quantity of booze from the Tesco superstore in Horwich, Bolton in March. The suspected thieves were caught on CCTV as they entered the store. 

Greater Manchester Police released photos the the men today in a public appeal for information about their identities.

Officers have asked anyone with information about the crime to come forward.

Police were called to the store on March 29 around 4pm for reports of theft/shoplifting.

Investigators believe the trio caught on surveillance camera worked together to get £2,000 worth of alcohol out of the store.

‘As part of our investigation into this crime, we have released CCTV images of three men we would like to speak to,’ Dave Malee of GMP’s Crime Investigation Team said today. ‘We believe they could have some vital information that could assist us in our enquiries.

‘If you have any information, please get in touch with us as soon as you can. Even the smallest piece of information could prove to be vital to our enquiries.’
