‘Much loved’ father, 37, dies and another man, 35, fighting for his life after horror crash in BMW 5-series

A ‘much loved’ father has been killed an another man is fighting for his life after a horrific car crash.

Kellam Hodgson, 37, died at the scene of the collision involving a BMW 5-Series on Middlesborough Road, Guisborough, North Yorkshire on Friday.

Another man, aged 35, was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition, Cleveland Police said. 

Officers are appealing for information from witnesses and dash cam footage to aid with the investigation.

Mr Hodgson’s family today paid tribute to the ‘much-loved son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.’

The incident involved a BMW 5-Series on Middlesborough Road, Guisborough, North Yorkshire

Kellam’s grieving family have today paid tribute to him and have asked for privacy during this extremely difficult time.

Middlesborough Road was closed off by police in both directions after the collision.

North East Ambulance Service sent a number of vehicles and had to request air ambulance support. 

Anyone who witnessed the incident has been asked to contact Cleveland Police Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, using the reference number CVP-23-128209.

Reports on social media suggested a large section of the road was cordoned off, from the bottom of Stokesley Road to the Co-op roundabout.
