Mum terrified after woman 'tried to snatch son, 2, before following her home from Lidl' | The Sun
A MUM has been left terrified after a woman tried to snatch her two-year-old son when they were walking home.
Lisa Claw from Folkestone, Kent, was walking past the local Lidl with her toddler on Sunday, September 4 when the "attempted kidnap" happened.
The mum-of-two was pushing her one-year-old daughter in the pram while her son was climbing under the metal bike racks outside the supermarket.
Lisa said her son then started crying and as she turned around a lady had him by the arm and was telling him "come with me".
"All of a sudden my little boy is really crying and as I looked around there was this lady who had my son by his arm saying 'come with me'. I instantly shouted 'get off my son'," she added.
The panicked mum managed to grab her son and run into her cousin's house nearby, KentLive reports.

And as Lisa tried to keep her children safe, it appeared the woman had followed them and was now waiting outside.
She said: "I thought after about 10 minutes it would be safe to walk home but no, this lady waited by Lidl for me and started to follow me home.
"So I stopped at the end of my road and waited until she was out of sight, as I didn't want her knowing where I live."
The incident was reported to Kent Police but now Lisa wants to warn other parents of the dangers after it has left her son traumatised.
"My son was very scared and kept crying. He keeps saying 'mummy the lady is going to take me'," Lisa added.
"I'm just very shaken up. I never expected something like this to happen.
"Thankfully the police are being very helpful and are treating it as attempted kidnap."
Kent Police confirmed an incident on Middeburg Square had been reported just before 9am on Monday, September 5 after reports a woman "reportedly held the arm of a child at around 5pm the previous day".
"The child was then picked up by his mother and they walked away without further contact. Enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing," the force added.
