Mystery as man found fighting for his life with devastating injuries at popular seaside resort | The Sun
POLICE are urgently working to identify a man who is fighting for his life after being found injured at a popular seaside resort.
Emergency services raced to Bournemouth in the early hours of this morning after reports a man in his 60s was found unconscious.
Medics arrived to find the man with horror injuries before quicky rushing him to hospital and into surgery.
Police are now probing what unfolded before the man was found as it currently remains a mystery.
Officers are also yet to identify him.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: “At approximately 12.15am officers attended an address in Hinton Road following a report of concern for welfare.

“A man aged in his 60s was located inside unconscious with serious injuries.
"He was taken to hospital by the ambulance service and remains in a life-threatening condition."
Detective Inspector Shaun Inkpen, of Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Pool Criminal Investigation Department, said: “At the moment we do not know how the man sustained his injuries and we are carrying out inquiries to establish exactly what has happened.
“I am appealing to anyone in the area who may have seen or heard anything that they feel is relevant to please come forward.”
