Olivia Newton-John's daughter shares behind-the-scenes video from a duet with her 'mama'
Chloe Lattanzi is mourning the death of her mother, Olivia Newton-John, through song.
Grammy-winning singer and actress Newton-John died following a long battle with breast cancer at 73 on Monday.
Newton-John’s daughter, whom the “Grease” actress shared with her first husband Matt Lattanzi, posted a touching behind-the-scenes video from a duet between her and her mother Tuesday as they sang “Window in the Wall.” The mother-daughter duo released the song in January 2021.
The video features Lattanzi and Newton-John singing sweet, melancholy lyrics side-by-side in the music studio while also embracing one another.

“You are my lighthouse mama. My safe place. My heart space. It has been my honor and continues to be my honor to be your baby and best friend,” Lattanzi wrote in the caption. “You are an angel on earth and everyone touched by you has been blessed. I love you forever my life giver, my teacher, my mama.”
Lattanzi also shared old photos of her and her mother in an earlier post. Days prior, alongside a sweet photo of herself and Newton-John, she wrote: “I worship this woman. My mother. My best friend.”

Newton-John’s husband, John Easterling, confirmed his wife’s death Monday via her verified Facebook page, writing that Newton-John “passed away peacefully at her ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends.”
“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer,” Easterling wrote.

Many other celebrities sent touching tributes to mourn the death of John-Newton, including her “Grease” co-star John Travolta, Marlee Matlin and Mariah Carey.
“My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better,” Travolta wrote in an Instagram post. “Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!”
