REVEALED: Sleeping man found during house viewing is 'party monster'
EXCLUSIVE – REVEALED: Sleeping man who went viral after he was found dozing on sofa surrounded by empty bottles, cans and cigarette packets during filthy house viewing is a rave DJ and ‘party monster’
- The man, who has not been named, called the house viewings ‘ridiculous’
- Neighbours have said the house is ‘party central’ and there is always noise
A sleeping man who went viral after he was found dozing on a sofa half naked and surrounded by empty bottles, cans and cigarette packets during a lunchtime house viewing is a rave DJ and ‘party monster’, MailOnline can reveal.
The clubbing partygoer was sleeping off the previous night’s excesses completely unaware of the house viewing and also unaware he was about to become a social media star when estate agents were showing their rented house to prospective new tenants.
One of them, Katie Elliot, 24, took footage of him sleeping through her viewing while surrounded by party debris and posted it to TikTok where it was viewed over half a million times, with 78,000 likes.
The DJ, who MailOnline has agreed not to name, is said by pals to be a ‘party animal’ and ‘caner’ and is a regular on the club scene in Newcastle.
But he is unhappy that the viewing took place without him behind pre-warned – and that footage of him asleep went viral.

He told MailOnline: ‘It is absolutely ridiculous and it should never have happened, I knew nothing about what was going on.’
The house is in Greystoke Road in the popular student haunt of Sandyford, Newcastle, and the renting tenants who recently moved out liked to ‘party around the clock’, according to neighbours.
Katie said of her encounter with the DJ: ‘The guy didn’t wake up throughout the time we were there looking around so I’m not sure anyone had even been in the room.
‘The place was unbelievable, I’ve never seen anything like it – especially on a house viewing.’
She had originally hoped to move into the house with two pals when the student occupants moved home at the end of the summer term, but not surprisingly they chose not to.
Neighbours are hoping the property is now empty because of a welcome end to music usually blaring from it.
One woman said: ‘It’s an area where a lot of students live so we’re used to a bit of noise but that house was party central.
‘They’d be partying around the clock sometimes and then would sit outside the back on green plastic garden seats to recover.

Online users were hysterical after seeing the viral video showing the filthy home
The property was littered with rubbish, including what looked like remains of a prepared meal and bottles of booze

‘We haven’t heard from them in days now which can only mean they’ve moved on, it’s never this quiet otherwise.
‘The scene on the video is just about how you’d expect the inside to look. I wouldn’t like to be responsible for cleaning it.’
Even other students were fed up of the racket.
Another undergraduate said: ‘It was a bit much. The music would be blasting right through the night sometimes.’
Beer cans litter the overgrown garden at the front door of the home and the green plastic chairs, one draped in a blue towel, have been left for the next tenant to enjoy.
Katie said the letting agent warned that the property was filthy, and asked her to ‘try and look past the mess’.
She said: ‘The letting agent warned me before we went in that it was extremely dirty and said that they were really struggling with it.
‘I didn’t expect it to be that bad. You could tell she was embarrassed and she was talking about how ridiculous it was.
‘The letting agent kept saying I can only ask you to try and look past the mess.’
She added: ‘There was a guy in one of the bedrooms that was arguing with the woman about the mess not being his as he’s not there that often as well.’
