He once tucked into a Twix and Sprite before delivering a Budget and is a self-professed Coca-Cola lover.
And it seems Rishi Sunak’s sweet tooth runs in the family.
The Prime Minister’s Christmas card shows him, wife Akshata, 42, and daughters Krishna, 11 and Anoushka, nine, having fun in the kitchen at Downing Street.
Both daughters add ingredients into the bowl while he whisks the mixture together to make Christmas cookies.

The card, bearing the message ‘with best wishes for Christmas and the New Year’, was released yesterday.
It comes as it emerged the Prime Minister made surprise calls to public servants thanking them for their selflessness. He spoke to diplomats in Pakistan, Somalia and Ukraine as well as a Royal Navy ship in Antarctica, telling the crew their work demonstrated the best of Britain overseas.
In a break with tradition, the PM made the calls from No 10 rather than broadcasting a festive message.
In a statement, he said: ‘Whether you are working in Mogadishu or Milton Keynes this Christmas, I want you to know that I am personally grateful for your sacrifice.’
The PM will spend Christmas in his North Yorkshire constituency of Richmond.
