Deon ‘Mad Dog’ Hulse, who appeared on the Jeremy Kyle Show, has died aged 40.

The tattoo fanatic who had a skull inked on his face reportedly passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 26.

He shot to notoriety when he appeared on the show in 2011 during an episode titled ‘How Could My Boyfriend Destroy His Own Face?’.

After telling the audience he didn’t care what he looked like, Hulse then failed a lie detector test asking if he had slept with any other women. 

This prompted Jeremy Kyle to say: ‘You are a liar and a cheat and you look ridiculous.’

His family have set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for his funeral and hope to reach £2,000

Mr Hulse, from Walsall, West Midlands, told Jeremy Kyle: ‘I don’t care what I look like.

‘I am who I am, if people don’t like me for who I am, they can do one.’

Later in the show, Mr Hulse failed a lie detector test asking if he had slept with any other women – leading Jeremy Kyle to say: ‘You are a liar and a cheat and you look ridiculous. 

His family have now set up a GoFundMe to help raise money for his funeral.

The fundraiser said: ‘He touched a lot of people’s hearts. Many of us will always have a story to tell about him. 

‘He was a one off and one in a trillion’, according to The Sun.

Over £300 has already been raised for Deon as the family hope to hit £2,000

Mr Hulse was spared jail in 2012 after stealing metal worth thousands of pounds. 

At the time, he was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, for theft.

A family friend said: ‘He has left a lot of people heartbroken.

‘Every little bit helps, thank you everyone. Let’s show the family how much he’s loved and Deon rest in pure paradise. We all love ya kid.’
