A YOUNG teen is fighting for her life after being hit by a car as she walked down a lane.

Cops yesterday rushed to Farnham, Surrey at 6pm to reports of a car crash.

A 14-year-old girl who was walking past at the time of the accident was flown to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

Police are now pleading for anyone who may have details of the accident to come forward.

A Surrey Police Spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for witnesses after a collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian in Farnham yesterday evening.

"The collision occurred on Folly Hill, at the junction with Hoghatch Lane, sometime between 6pm and 6.10pm.

"A 14-year-old girl was flown to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

"If you were in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or have any information including dashcam footage which could help our investigation, please contact us quoting PR/45230023773."
