Toddler dies after nurse showed up for work high after four-day meth binge
A toddler has died while under the care of a nurse who showed up to work after she had been on a four-day meth binge.
Police say that the Michigan, United States nurse had turned up for her shift after the binge and was found "incoherent and mumbling" lying next to the baby.
Judith Sobol, 42, has been accused of second-degree murder after she showed up to the toddler's house while still high on the substance.

Calls put in to police say that the youngster had turned "blue" and was unresponsive after they had been left without a breathing tube, with officers called out to the property at 2:30am.
Police arrived to find parents working to try and save the baby, who had suffered from several medical conditions and was in need of a breathing tube, which Sobol has been accused of misplacing.
According to a police report, Sobol was "not in the right state of mind to be at work and should have never come to work at all".
The youngster was taken to hospital, where doctors discovered the vital breathing tube tangled up in her hair.
Sobol claimed she "probably passed out or fell asleep" while cleaning the tube when it was disconnected.

Police chief Wes Smigielski said: "Through an investigation, the officers found out that was the registered nurse that was supposed to care for the child throughout the night.
"After the investigation was completed, we determined that she was high on methamphetamines and should not have been in care of that child."
A search of the nurse's bag revealed an undisclosed quantity of meth and two pipes, with Sobol admitting to taking the Class A drug four days in a row, including the same day she was called to work to monitor the child.
Sobol is currently being held on a $500,000 (£407,655) bond, with a hearing set for June 29, LADBible reported.
