The trio, two in their 20s and one in his 30s, were taken to hospital for treatment to stab injuries. Their condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.

The news also comes after a 32-year-old man was stabbed to death near Waterloo Station in late October.

Two Metropolitan Police officers were stabbed by a knifeman in the West End the month before.
