Urgent hunt for missing six-year-old as mom 'involved in her disappearance' is found dead from 'suicide' | The Sun

AN urgent hunt has been launched for a six-year-old girl after her mother was found dead in an apparent suicide.

Police say that Lisa Wade, 39, may have been involved in the disappearance of daughter Elle Ragin before taking her own life.

On Saturday at 11:49 am, police discovered an apparent suicide of Lisa Wade in her Minnesota home, according to the Northfield Police Department.

The press release states that "police have reason to believe that Wade may have been involved in the disappearance of her 6 year old daughter before taking her own life."

Police are currently looking for Elle Ragin who the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension described as approximately 3ft 6in tall and weighs 45 pounds. She has curly brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities are not sure who Ragin could be with, but believe she could be in possible danger, according to CBS.

The Northfield Police Department is urging anyone who has seen Elle or her mom Lisa in the past two weeks to share information with their department.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with this investigation.
