‘Wheeler dealer’ scrapyard king says he’d sell metal to aliens fixing their UFOs

A scrapyard owner fancies adding aliens desperate for spare UFO parts to his customer base as long as they've got the money.

The sky is no limit for scrap metal boss Terry Walker, who sells used car parts from his yard in Bolton, Greater Manchester, to clients as far away as South Africa and Dubai.

The charismatic dad-of-two is now the star of brand new Quest TV series Scrapyard Dynasty in which viewers see him doing plenty of what he does best, wheeling and dealing.

Getting bargains and selling them on for a profit is a skill the comes naturally to him, Terry told the Daily Star, as is working with people from all walks of life.

Terry said: "I don't mind who I deal with, like I say I can deal with any walk of life. It doesn't bother me, alien or not as long as he's got a few quid on him and he wants to buy something I'll sell to him."

Until extra-terrestrials get on the blower for spare parts to patch up their faulty UFO, Terry will happily make do with negotiations on Earth.

He said: "I've always wanted to deal with all walks of life, it's never bothered me to do that.

"When I was a kid I used to watch Ali Baba on the TV and I revert back to that and think it's actually happening now.

"You know, I'm actually dealing with Turkey and South Africa and Ghana and Spain on a day-to-day basis and sometimes it can be talking to three or four of them at the same time on WhatsApp.

"It just comes naturally to me it doesn't faze me in anyway I just love the thrill of the deal, that's what makes it worthwhile going to work with not a lot and coming home with more."

Becoming Mr International is no small feat for a man who describes his starting point in business as having "literally nothing".

Terry explained his first experience wheeling and dealing was doing up bikes, both motor and pedal, in his grandma's back garden while he was still a schoolboy.

Having saved enough "bob", he went on to buy a van and sliced the roof off with a grinder to transform it into a pick up truck for collecting any old scrap in the Bolton area.

Terry added: "I'd buy pretty much anything. So I've always done some wheeling and dealing as time went on I bought myself a little yard in Rackley and I did repairs there.

"I think I've done my best to get us where we are today from nothing, literally nothing.

"I had the help of the love of my grandma and grandad they put a roof over my head and looked after me and what not so it could've gone a totally different way if it wasn't for them. And then I had the very good luck of meeting Lyndsay who's looked after me.

"I am proud of where we are today from starting with nothing, without a scratch you know, not a penny but working our way up.

"We've got to a point now where we're not multi millionaires but we've done alright."
