Shamblin, 66, was one of seven people to lose their lives on May 29, 2021, when their Cessna C501 crashed into Percy Priest Lake near Smyrna, Tennessee.
Diet guru Shamblin Lara founded the controversial Remnant Fellowship Church in 1999.
She was said to have led a luxury lifestyle.
Upon her death, an investigation into Shamblin Lara's will involved an estate possibly worth millions.
Nashville lawyer Gary Blackburn told WTVF, who conducted the investigation: "It suggests to me – perhaps I'm cynical – it suggests to me that the accumulation was not for God, it was for Gwen."
In 1998 Shamblin Lara told CNN host Larry King: “This money, half of it goes to the government, the other half goes to keep it going so that someone else can be helped."
It was also revealed that Shamblin Lara's 2018 divorce from her husband, David Shamblin, showed the couple had 18 properties worth more than $20million.
These properties included a Florida beach house valued at more than $4m, another mansion in Brentwood at around $7m, and the jet that crashed.

What happened in the Gwen Shamblin plane crash?
The seven killed were Brandon Hannah, Gwen and Joe Lara, David L. Martin, Jennifer J. Martin, Jessica Walters, and Jonathan Walters.
There were no survivors.
Air traffic control data revealed that the plane started to drop after just 90 seconds in the air.
The small plane carrying the seven people was reportedly bound for Palm Beach International Airport in Florida.
The aircraft was registered to JL&GL Productions LP, which the Laras owned together, according to WTVF.
Dive teams from local emergency agencies found human remains and pieces of the Cessna 501 plane
Shamblin Lara's daughter, Elizabeth Hannah, reportedly sent out a text message to Remnant church members asking for prayers.
She said that the plane had to go down "for a controlled, quick landing," according to the outlet.
"More information to come, but be in prayer — and be at peace," Hannah's message continued.
"GOD IS IN CONTROL, and we will not stop moving forward with WHAT GOD WANTS with this church."
