Avril Lavigne and Tyga inseparable as they enjoy LA date night just after Paris Fashion Week parties

Avril Lavigne and Tyga seem to have become inseparable as they continue to enjoy time together in Los Angeles after the whirlwind of Paris Fashion Week.

The new couple, who were reported to have gotten together just weeks after Canadian singer Avril called it quits on her fiancé Mod Sun, held hands as they embarked for a night out in Santa Monica.

Avril, 38, showcased her usual rock chick look with a black bomber jacket, and ripped side-split denim skirt, while rapper Tyga opted for a Bose brand jacket, and printed jogging bottoms.

The couple looked cool in matching black as they strolling down the pavement together.

Tyga, 33, whose real name is Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson, wore his hair in braids and his signature black sunglasses, while the Sk8er Boy hitmaker showed off her new blonde bob hair cut.

The star finished her look with a matching black clutch bag and boots.

Avril looked pensive as she stayed close to her new beau, as the 2000s icon opted for a glowing complexion and deep pink eyeshadow for the night out.

Tyga kept one hand in his pocket, as the pair put on a united front amid photographers in the city.

A week earlier, the pair were spotted arriving at Kuku restaurant for Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio's exclusive party in the middle of Paris Fashion Week.

Avril and Tyga went in to the party together, but the former appeared to be trying to keep a low profile at the time as she wore a hoodie and kept her head down from the cameras.

The Complicated hitmaker confirmed she and Mod Sun, 35, ended their engagement in February.

Mod Sun posted a statement on the news on his Instagram page days later, as he wrote: "In 1 week my entire life completely changed.

“I just know there’s a plan for it all," the rapper, whose real name is Derek Ryan Smith, continued. "I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken.

"Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing.

"I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage," the star added.

The emotional statement came after Mod Sun's representatives initially claimed he had been blindsided by the break-up and had left for tour still believing he and Avril were together.

Avril's team have confirmed that the couple did break up, but the star has declined to give her own statement.
