BGT legend Susan Boyle unrecognisable as she’s spotted on low-key Irish outing

Britain's Got Talent legend Susan Boyle was unrecognisable as she was spotted on low-key outing in Ireland.

The 61 year old singer, who shot to fame on BGT in 2009, returned to the Knock House Hotel in Mayo, West Ireland, where she's stayed before.

The hotel's owners were thrilled to have the Scottish singing sensation back at their hotel, as they excitedly posted a snap of Susan graciously posing with a fan to their official Facebook page.

Susan was dressed in a cream knitted cardigan with a yellow raincoat over the top, and she looked in a brilliant mood as she beamed for the camera, whilst showing off a makeup free face and straightened hair.

They gushed: "It was our pleasure to welcome Susan Boyle back to Knock House again recently.

"Susan is a fabulous Lady and we always love to see her return time and time again to Knock House Hotel. Pictured here with the lovely Des Dugan from the team at Senior Times LIVE."

People were quick to comment on the snap, with one lamenting that they hadn't met her themselves.

They wrote: "OMG, this is literally down the road from me. RAGING that I missed getting a picture with Subo."

Another fan commented: "What a lovely pic. She seems to be a lovely lady. She has a most amazing voice…"

A third added: "Love Susan Boyle since day one of hearing her voice," whilst a fourth said: "Beautiful photo shes got a beautiful voice."

It appears Susan is a big fan of Ireland and could have been visiting family during her trip, as she previously revealed that she has relatives in Donegal.

She's said: "I was up visiting people in Donegal, I've got a few cousins up there on my mother's side, the McLoughlins."

Susan was on the third series of ITV's Britain's Got Talent, where she floored judges including Simon Cowell with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Misérables.

She gained a massive fanbase very quickly and made it to the final of the show, before being beaten to be crowned the winner, by dance group Diversity.

It didn't impact her career, however, as her debut album went onto become one of the UK's best-selling albums of all time.

According to Susan Boyle's official website, "her list of successes is mesmerising".

"Over 25 million albums sold, 250 million audio streams, over 650 million YouTube hits and counting," the bio reads.
