Carol Vorderman sparks concern with health update after I’m A Celeb
Carol Vorderman, 62, told her 332,000 Instagram followers that she has been forced to cancel her plans tomorrow due to poor health.
The I’m A Celeb South Africa star explained she was feeling “sweaty and full of temperature” as she connected with her fans via Instagram live.
The BBC Wales presenter asked fans to “excuse her” as she continued to cough throughout the video, admitting: “I’m not a well girl tonight”.
“I’ve had a cold, I’ve been sick,” Carol added, before confessing that watching the stomach-turning eating trials on tonight’s episode of the ITV show certainly hadn’t helped.
“That eating trial…” Carol began before mimicking throwing up. “I must admit I have been feeling a bit sick today.”
Carol read out comments from her concerned fans, thanking them after several people wished she would “be feeling better soon”.
“Night Carol, get better soon,” Jo commented, while Micky added worriedly: “You need to sleep.”
Fan favourite Carol was the first star to arrive in South Africa yesterday, before being joined by fellow I’m A Celeb stars Amir Khan and Jordan Banjo.

The star wasn’t feeling too steady on her feet then either, as she had to dive off a plank jutting off the side of the mountain whilst wearing a bungee cord for her very first trial.
The celebs were later joined by other campmates, Helen Flanagan, Fatima Whitbread, Paul Burrell, Phil Tufnell, Janice Dickinson and Shaun Ryder.
A surprise late arrival also came in the form of Gillian McKeith, who shocked former campmate Shaun, with whom she is said to have had a “row”.
Tonight’s episode of the ITV show ended with an exciting twist, as contestants were told they would be forced to chose their next campmate.
Presenters Ant and Dec announced that their choice will be between iconic former participants Myleene Klass, Georgia Toffolo and Andy Whyment.
I’m A Celebrity South Africa continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV.
