At the time, the celeb was performing as Prince Charming in Cinderella at the Bradford Playhouse.

He revealed: “All I could manage to keep down was a bite of pineapple and sip of water but I kept going, and then I did a sell out tour in Manchester.”

The Celebrity Big Brother star later underwent CT scans, abdominal X-rays and colonoscopies as he remained in the intensive care unit.

Speaking about the impact the experience continues to have on him, he disclosed: “I have arthritis and colitis and it’s taken a toll me.”(sic)

The TV star continued: “I still feel like I got off lightly though, people have died from this.”

According to the NHS, potential symptoms of E.Coli and Campylobacter include diarrhoea, stomach cramps, fever, nausea, vomiting and general tiredness.

On Wednesday, the star shared that he had travelled to Poland for blepharoplasty, a cosmetic surgery that reconstructs eyelids by removing excess skin.

He documented the journey with his 31,000 followers where he stated he “needed a hug” as he recovered.

He shared an update earlier today about his 20th surgery where his bruises had faded.

Christopher posted to Instagram: “Thank you for all your lovely messages. Feeling so much better today. You ROCK xx.”

One fan commented: “Hugs feel better soon” and another added: “Beautiful smile, beautiful eyes.. And it seems a beautiful soul! It’s time you saw this too.. Sending hugs though for sure”. (sic)
