EastEnders’ Bernie Taylor star looks worlds away from character for glamorous date night

BBC EastEnders actress Clair Norris looked almost unrecognisable compared with her soap character as she glammed up for a night out with her beau.

Clair, 24, who plays Bernadette Taylor in the soap, looked far away from her day job in Albert Square where she's usually dressed in baggy clothes, a purple padded jacket and has her brunette hair scraped up in a bun.

Clair, who has played Bernadette in the soap since 2017, gave fans a glimpse of her life away from our TV screens as she shared a glam picture of herself.

In a selfie posted to her Instagram, Clair looked incredible, standing together with her boyfriend Lewis, all dressed up and ready for a night out in London.

Clair has been dating 30 year old Lewis for over three years, with the pair celebrating their third anniversary this summer.

The soap star and her beau regularly enjoy lavish date nights and can be found jetting off to exotic locations to soak up the sun together, with the couple having previously visited Lanzarote, Rome, Cyprus and more.

In her recent pictures, the actress can be seen wearing a black outfit with her lightened locks left down and flowing past her shoulders.

Co-star Milly Zero, who portrays Dotty Cotton in the soap, commented: "So beautiful." And a fan added: "Love your hair."

A third fan echoed: "Your hair looks amazing!!", while a fourth wrote: "You’re so beautiful. Blonde hair really suits you, makes your eyes so bright."

Meanwhile back on Albert Square, insiders tease it's a a big week for Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie (Shane Richie) and the Panesar family as high drama ensues.

Warning: spoilers ahead!

Freddie (Bobby Brazier) helps Alfie with an extravagant flower display for Kat but things take a turn for the worse when she finds out where the flowers have come from.

She later joins him in The Vic but is left speechless when a young woman enters the pub to remind Alfie he is getting married tomorrow.

As Alfie tries to explain that the young woman is not his fiancé, he offers to bring Kat to meet his real bride-to-be and learn the truth. When Kat realises what is really going on, she suggests that they hold the wedding in the Vic and the planning begins in earnest.

Meanwhile, after their night together, Jay (Jamie Borthwick) is hurt when Lola (Danielle Harold) pushes back on his idea to tell Lexi (Isabella Brown) about their reunion. He later gifts her a necklace, but as they embrace she is worried they may be spotted.

And elsewhere, Howie (Delroy Atkinson) starts his first day as a postman, delivering bills to an anxious Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) who feels she can’t ask Denise (Diane Parish) for help with money.

She later admits to using Jack (Scott Maslen) and Denise’s washing machine because she can’t afford to fix her broken one. A concerned Jack offers her some money.

When Denise arrives, he suggests Chelsea rents the rooms in her house but Denise is concerned by their closeness.
