EastEnders star Louisa Lytton breaks down in tears on the tube over ‘mum guilt’

Louisa Lytton admitted to having “mum guilt” as she posted a photo of her crying on the train to work on Monday.

The Eastenders actress, 33, shared on Instagram Stories that she had been crying on the tube, after leaving her one year old daughter Aura at home with her husband Ben Bhanvra.

Louisa was seen in the photo she shared of her tearful moment sat beside her suitcase while crying, as she wore a purple jumper and grey coat.

Prior to setting off for work, Louisa had posted a cute photo of her baby girl dressed as a pumpkin at home, as she wrote: “A little Halloween fun this AM before I leave for work.

"I feel sick with guilt for going to work. So silly I know. I've brought a whole book and I intend on finishing it. Room service for one."

Later that day, the mum-of-one posted a selfie of her crying on the train, captioning it: "Just me crying on the Elizabeth Line. It's not even a week.

"I woke at 6am. Apparently Aura is still asleep at home. Ben has lucked out not me!"

After being apart from her baby daughter all day, Louisa was seen in a video shared later reunited with her little one as she returned home from work that the evening.

Louisa and husband Ben married in July in a romantic ceremony in Italy, after having delayed their nuptials three times as a result of Covid.

The couple welcomed their baby daughter Aura in August 2021.

Louisa previously shared in September that she broke down again after walking her daughter to her first birthday party.

The actress has been open about the emotional impact of motherhood and its strain sometimes on her relationship with partner Ben on social media.

Louisa recently uploaded a montage video of her enjoying “36 hours” of fun dates with her husband, which she said was “just what we needed”, as they had a brief break from parenting.

Beside the video, Louisa wrote: “36 hours…Just the two of us. Laughs, cocktails, coffee x100, food and a @tomlivingfit fix.

“Just what we needed, back home to our babies. Don’t forget to find time for the relationship that created those little humans. Even if it’s a long walk together whilst they are asleep in the pram. Sometimes just getting out of the house works wonders”.
