England WAGs ‘supporting’ Raheem Sterling’s ‘shaken’ fiancée Paige after break in

The wives and girlfriends of the England team are said to have rallied around in support of footballer Raheem Sterling’s fiancée Paige Milian, after their family home was reportedly raided on Saturday night.

Raheem, 27, abruptly left the World cup tournament over the weekend after learning of the home invasion.

Fiancée Paige and the family have reportedly been left “shaken” by the robbery, after burglars are said to have broken in and stolen £300,000 of watches and jewellery.

The national team and their partners have been left shaken themselves by the intrusion, according to reports.

An insider has said that England skipper Harry Kane has spoken out about the ordeal, while the team’s partners have also offered their support to Paige, after the robbery.

A source told The Sun: “Harry knows the players’ families are really shaken up by what has happened and that is a worry for the players themselves.

“He sees it as his job as skipper to keep the morale of the team up and to focus everyone on the France match.”

Manchester United star Harry Maguire said: “It’s extremely disappointing to hear that when we are out here playing for our country and giving everything, there are people back home targeting us.

“The game could have gone different and we might have needed Raheem.”

According to The Sun, Paige was at home in Surrey with her and Raheem’s young children when the burglars broke in on Saturday night, forcing her to raise the alarm. The family moved into the home this past summer.

Raheem is now reportedly planning to increase security at the estate, following the intrusion.

An insider told The Sun: “He has a firm on stand-by to go straight in to install 24/7 security with enhanced infrared night vision. He’s looking to get dozens of cameras installed.

“And he’s going to employ a security firm to patrol his house night and day, and will keep them in place until the World Cup is over.”

The Surrey Police have said they are “investigating a report of a burglary”, after they were contacted “just before 9pm on Saturday, December 3” by occupants of the property.

It is understood that Paige flew back to the UK from Qatar with the children, after witnessing Raheem play in the group stages.

Raheem is hoping to return to Qatar ahead of England’s game against France in the quarter final, following the devastating raid at their home.
