Glass Animals’ ‘Heat Waves’ Ties For Second-Longest Run On Billboard Hot 100

Glass Animals‘ “Heat Waves” has tied with Imagine Dragons‘ “Radioactive” for the second-longest run on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

“Heat Waves” came in at No. 17 on the chart dated September 24, marking its 87th total week on the Hot 100, according to Billboard.
“Radioactive” reached this mark during 2012-14.

The two songs are outclassed only by The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights,” which spent 90 weeks on the Hot 100 chart in 2019-21.

“Heat Waves” debuted at No. 100 on the Hot 100 on January 16, 2021.

The song also tied the record for most weeks (108) on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative chart held by Panic! at the Disco‘s “High Hopes.”

Released as a single from Glass Animals’ third studio album Dreamland on June 29, 2020, “Heat Waves” is the English indie rock group’s most successful single.
