Holly Willoughby ignores Phillip Schofields bombshell interview with make-up free selfie

Holly Willoughby made light work of Phillip Schofield's latest jaw-dropping BBC interview, by posting a natural, bare-faced selfie to her Instagram.

Ignoring the drama as it unfolds today with Phillip's further revelations continuing to spill from his exclusive chat with Amol Rajan, the blonde beauty looked radiant and glowing.

This carefree shot has been posted on Holly's Wylde Moon lifestyle Instagram page, where the site claims to offer guidance to the 178k followers, and helps you to reconnect with yourself.

Holly is currently on leave from This Morning and sunning herself in Portugal with her family, despite more truths from Phillip unveiling daily, including new details on his affair with a much younger ITV colleague.

Since Holly jetted off, Phillip has revealed that he believes Holly has cut him off completely, questioned whether people want him dead in the wake of the scandal and has talked about not knowing what the future holds.

Despite all of this, Holly's post innocently mentions how to protect your hair in summer, avoiding any reference to the news unfolding back in the UK.

The mum-of-three, 42, has jetted off to the sunshine with her mum, dad and children, but looks set to be quizzed by senior bosses at ITV on her return, with the star expected to join the This Morning crew again on June 5.

Holly and Phil, who were close friends for 14 years, have reportedly barely spoken in recent weeks, with rumours of a rift between the two circling from mid-May.

At the time, viewers had already noticed the frosty reception growing between the duo but most assumed it was down to numerous mishaps and the pressure of their accused 'queue-jumping' at the Queen's funeral and the conviction of Phil's brother Timothy last month for child sexual abuse charges.

Holly has since spoke out about how Phil's "lies" had "hurt" her as he kept his shamed affair secret from even her.

She posted on her Instagram at the time, stating: "It’s taken time to process yesterday's news.

“When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not,” she wrote, adding: “It's been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie.”

Phillip also revealed in his BBC interview that he was "deeply sorry" for lying to Holly.

In his heartfelt apology he admits to regretting lying to her and has stringently pressed that she "didn't know" anything about the affair, stating in another interview that he has "lost his best friend" and that "if anyone is in any way linking Holly to this; that is absolutely, wholly untrue."
