Holly Willoughby shares sweet snap of son Chester in rare selfie

Holly Willoughby has shared a sweet snap cuddling her son Chester as he prepares to head back to school.

In the photo shared on the This Morning presenter’s Instagram page on Thursday 1 September, Holly went makeup-less for a selfie with her seven year old son while wearing pyjamas.

Shirtless and facing away from the camera, Chester led on his mum’s chest as he gave her a cuddle.

Doting mum Holly, 41, captioned the cute photo: “All the stripes and all the feels… soaking up the last few moments before back to school”.

Holly's also mum to son Harry, 13, and 11 year old daughter Belle whom she shares with husband Dan Baldwin.

The daytime TV star’s eight million Instagram followers were quick to comment on the snap.

“Every time I see you I feel peace,” penned fellow presenter Alison Hammond, as All Saints’ Nicole Appleton replied with a string of heart emojis.

“Enjoy enjoy moment they don't be small for long feeling ur love in this photo,” gushed another follower, as a fourth person wrote: “This is just beautiful…and what life is about…enjoy the rest of your time with your lovely family”.

Another person penned: “Beautiful, hope you had a lovely summer holiday, can't wait to see you back on our screens”.

Their comment comes after it was announced that Holly and her co-presenter Phil Schofield will be returning to host This Morning on Monday 5 September.

Talking ahead of their return and their summer plans, Phillip said: "The best time about summer is turning off the alarm and switching off! I usually have three alarms that get me up in the morning – two on my phone and one on the Alexa – and it's nice that when you finish for summer you can switch off the alarms!]

"I have three because when you’re getting up at 5.30am, you’ve got to be sure you’re going to wake up, and actually the final alarm really is my driver either phoning or banging on the window – that's when I know I’m cutting it fine! So having all of that gone is a nice feeling."

While Holly added: "Summertime for me is really about spending time with the kids and the family. School term time is really busy for them, and in telly land it’s as busy as ever too now that the world has opened up again – there's so much more stuff to do!

"It’s all lovely of course, but it is nice to get that marker in the sand. I tend to take a bit of a break from social media at the same time as well, so for me, when I come back in September I'm ready to start again. It’s a real re-set for me."
