Jason Momoa strips off on Kimmel! Aquaman hunk bares his muscled body in traditional Hawaiian Malo as he declares: ‘I actually don’t like wearing clothes anymore’

Aquaman himself Jason Momoa stripped down to a traditional Hawaiian Malo while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday.

The 54-year-old host was asking the Honolulu-born, Iowa-raised 43-year-old about the thong-like attire he had worn while deep sea fishing for aku aka skipjack tuna back on October 23.

‘That’s a traditional Malo, it’s what the Hawaiians wear,’ Jason (born Joseph) explained.

‘I’m doing a show. I’m a creator and writer and director and producer and actor on this Apple series called Chief of War and it’s all 1780s, 1790s Hawaii.

‘That’s what I wear every day, and I was just getting ready for the role because I like to get into character and so I was tanning my white a**.’

When Jimmy asked Momoa if a Malo is comfortable, he replied: ‘Oh my god, yes! I actually don’t like wearing clothes anymore. I’m in it every day. I wear it all the time.’

Without prompting, the SAG Award nominee then stood up and started slowly removing his lavender blazer and purple silk pajamas.

Jason showcased his muscular 6ft4in physique while slowly turning to reveal his bare derrière as the studio audience roared.

Kimmel started fanning himself and quipped: ‘Let me tell you, I’ve never felt more like Danny DeVito than I do right now.’

Momoa was on the ABC talk show promoting his role as eccentric outlaw Flip in Francis Lawrence’s $150M-budget fantasy flick Slumberland, which hits US theaters this Friday before streaming November 18 on Netflix.

‘It’s based on a comic strip [Winsor McCay’s Little Nemo in Slumberland] from 1905. It’s wonderful,’ the See action star described.

‘I cried, I laughed. I’ve never had the opportunity to be in a comedy, so this is my first time. It’s my first comedy in 23 years in this business.’

Jason’s two children – daughter Lola Iolani, 15; and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, nearly 14 – have already seen Slumberland and ‘absolutely loved it.’
