Owen Warner bagged an impressive nine out of nine stars as he took on the Bucktucker Trial during Monday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The episode saw the return of the Boiling Point challenge, with the Hollyoaks actor, 23, being the second contestant to take part in the trial so far this series, after Chris Moyles was originally called up last week.
Chris, 48, only managed to bag just one star during the ordeal last week, with the camp nominating Owen to face it this time, yelling: ‘We eating good tonight!’ as he delivered the good news afterwards.

The camp were given the task of nominating someone to face the returning tirla, as Babatúndé Aleshe read a laminate: ‘Celebrities, today’s Trial is called Boiling Point: The Return. It is up to you to decide which celebrity takes part.’
Chris, who struggled with the challenge last week, joked in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I really wanted to have another go at Boiling Point because I did such a brilliant job last time… oh no, that’s right, I basically panicked and ended up with one star. That was it.’
While Owen offered himself up as he told his campmates that he was a strong swimmer and hadn’t faced a physical trial in the series so far.
Shame: It comes after Chris, 48, only managed to bag just one star during the same trial last week
He’ll take that: Owen was overjoyed with the win, grinning as he returned to camp to shout: ‘We eating good tonight!’
Matt Hancock was also keen to take it on, despite having faced countless trials so far, but let Owen have the opportunity.
Owen admitted in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I’ve wanted to do quite a physical challenge. I feel like all mine have been just getting gunked… I’d like to do something physical.’
Seann Walsh described the actor as ‘invincible’, as he shared: He’s not afraid of anything. You need someone to do a Trial, look at the abs. If you’ve got the most, get out there.’
Admitting he had a one track mind, Owen said: ‘’m going to go in there and think about food. I reckon I’ll do it in less than a minute with that mindset.’
Good luck! Owen was covered in cockroaches as he took on the difficult trial
Game on! After Owen is briefed in the trial area, a teaser clip shows Dec saying: ‘You can head in at the sound of the claxon’
Arriving to the trial area, hosts Ant and Dec asked Owen why he’d chosen to do the Trial, with the star replying: ‘No-one else really fancied the Trial to be honest. Chris didn’t really sell this one to anyone.’
Dec said: ‘This is the one that Chris struggled with. Do you think you can do better?’ as the soap star said that he’d be ok if he ‘keeps his cool’.
In typical I’m A Celeb style, Owen wasn’t alone inside the trial, as he entered a room with two pythons in it, sharing: ‘I didn’t even see that!’
Into another room with more snakes Owen said: ‘Oh hello! Oh my days… Oh stay away from me.’
Ending the trial with a full house of nine stars and time to spare, he triumphantly returned to camp, shouting: ‘We eating good tonight!’
And while the overjoyed camp were filled with glee, a red-faced Chris said in the Bush Telegraph: ‘How bad does this make me look now, you know? One star/ all the stars, ran out of time/ had time left on the clock.’
Producers were keen to reuse the trial after Chris only walked away with one star for camp earlier in the series.
Tuck! Owen quickly located some spanners and unhooked them, completing the trial in good time
During the challenge, the broadcaster struggled with his surroundings, lost his bag as well as the spanners he was using to unscrew the stars.
He was forced to use the final few minutes of the challenge to retrieve the items – but he was only able to rescue one of the two stars he’d collected.
The radio DJ arrived at the trial clearing on Wednesday night with ‘tears in his eyes’, telling hosts Ant and Dec, ‘I’m sh*****g myself’ and his fear took over, leaving him with only one star for camp, which led to a shocked reaction from viewers and the ITV show’s hosts.
Fail: Chris managed to bag one star in his second Bushtucker Trial
Having learned he’d be taking on the Boiling Point Trial, Chris spoke of his nerves and admitted: ‘As much as all the campmates go, ‘Just try your best it will be fine, don’t worry about it’, underneath it, they’re going, ‘Come back with at least more than yesterday!’
‘I just want to disappear. Three stars yesterday… I would love to come back with 11, but I don’t know what it is, so I don’t know how brave I’m going to be. I’ll try my best.’
Boy George told the Bush Telegraph: ‘Fear creates more fear. We all understand that, but in the moment you panic. I really want him to do it because I think it will be really good for his self-esteem.’
Shock: As Ant and Dec watched on, Chris’ fear took over, leaving him with only one star for camp – after dropping the second star he collected while in the boiler room
As he spoke with hosts Ant and Dec, Ant noted: ‘He’s got tears in his eyes.’
Chris said: ‘Yes! I’m sh**ing myself.’
Ant explained the Trial rules: ‘This is Boiling Point. You’ve got to enter the boiler room and retrieve four spanners. You’re going to use those spanners to release 11 stars that are within the boiler room and the underground pipe network. Only stars in the star bag at the end of time will count.’
He added: ‘This is a Bushtucker Trial, so the chances are you’re not going to be alone down there.’
Chris said: ‘When you say down there…. I should have done panto. Why is it enclosed spaces guys?’

Hoping to do better: The DJ bagged just three out of eleven possible meals in Tuesday’s challenge alongside Boy George and Babatúndé
Tough: Chris struggled throughout the nail-biting challenge
Dec encouraged: ‘Remember to keep breathing and keep talking to us.’
Ant said: ‘We’re here.’
Having retrieved the spanners and making his way into a watery section of the pipe, Chris said to himself: ‘Don’t panic… I’m really sorry, I’m really sorry. God I’m panicking I won’t be able to breathe on the other side.’
As Dec tried to advise him on where to go next, Chris yelled: ‘I got it, I know!’
Ant laughed: ‘There’s no need for anger. You’re getting angry with the wrong people here.’
Chris admitted: ‘You’re right, I’m really sorry.’
Fans react: Viewers were all left flabbergasted by Chris’ performance with many pointing out how stomachs would be rumbling in camp – especially Owen’s
As he continued to try to go underwater to unscrew stars, he found he couldn’t keep himself under the water long enough.
Chris said: ‘Good god this is embarrassing.’
Having collected two stars, Chris put the spanners in his star bag to move to another section. However, Chris revealed: ‘This is going to be the worst trial you’ve ever had… I’ve lost my spanners!’
Dec said: ‘You’ll have to go back and get them!’
Chris then revealed: ‘Everything’s now fallen out.’ A shocked Dec asked: ‘What, the stars?’
Lol: Even Chris’ friends and family couldn’t help joking about his trial fail, as they tweeted from the DJ’s official Twitter account
Dropped stars: As time started to run out Ant said: ‘You’re going to have to go back and look for them, you haven’t got long left now
Chris admitted: ‘Yeah!’
As time started to run out Ant said: ‘You’re going to have to go back and look for them, you haven’t got long left now… you’ve got like a minute and a half.’
When the klaxon sounded and Chris returned to Ant and Dec, Ant asked: ‘Chris, what happened?’
Chris said: ‘I’m going to be honest with you, it all went t**s up. Couldn’t even get through the membrane, this is pathetic.’

Chris then confessed: ‘I’ve lost a star…’
Dec said: ‘As we said, only stars in the bag at the end of the Trial will count…’
Counting out one star, Chris said: ‘I can’t go back to camp.’
Chris added: ‘They’ll all say really nice things and every single one of them will be lying… I think I’m going to go back and tell them I got none.’
Dec laughed: ‘And then one is a nice surprise? That’s really clutching at straws.’
Returning to camp Chris told them: ‘It’s really not good news and I’m really sorry. This is so awkward. I didn’t and I’m not joking, I got one star. To make it worse I got two and it fell out of my bag.’
