James Franco, 45, goes shirtless with bikini-clad girlfriend Izabel Pakzad 30, as they spend 4th of July soaking up the sun on Italian holiday

James Franco and longtime love Izabel Pakzad were spotted enjoying Independence Day overseas in Porto Ercole, Italy.

The 45-year-old filmmaker – who was seen in Los Angeles with Pakzad earlier this year – went shirtless and wore gray swimming trunks.

For her part, Izabel, who is an actress, flaunted her fit figure in a textured salmon-colored string bikini.

The twosome were seen enjoying each other’s company as they savored their stay at Hotel Il Pellicano.

They spent a day of leisure consuming food and drinks, having a smoke, and taking a dip in the ocean.

Franco, whose younger brothers Tom and Dave are also in the entertainment business, sported a salmon-colored hat.

The accessory read ‘James Dean Death Cult’ in dark, capital letters and is from his brand Paly.

He added a short-sleeved white T-shirt and The Deuce actor rocked a scruffy beard.

The longtime performer secured the straps of a black backpack over his shoulders and carried an orange and black tote in one hand.

In his other hand he was seen clutching a binder, which he was later seen thumbing through as he relaxed.

And for her part, Izabel, who sometimes models for Paly, pulled a pair of white shorts over her bikini bottoms.

She was makeup-free and wore her lengthy brunette locks loose, letting them fall down her back.

The loved-up duo began dating in November 2017 and they’ve made a point to keep their romance out of the spotlight.

At the time, it was believed the actor decided against going public with their relationship after he made headlines for alleged sexual misconduct just weeks into their romance.

The Palo, Alto, California native was accused by five women of sexually inappropriate behavior, four of whom were his acting students, in an article published by the LA Times in January 2018.

One of the ladies under his guidance as an acting student claimed to GMA that Franco ‘abused his power by exploiting the non-celebrity women that he worked with under the guise of giving them opportunities.’

Franco reached settlement deals with at least two of the accusers to close out their sexual misconduct lawsuits, People reported.

In Los Angeles court records obtained by the outlet, he allegedly agreed to pay $2,235,000 in the settlement.

The actor, who previously taught film courses at New York University and other colleges, was reported in 2018 to have ‘[abused] his power as an acting teacher in a sexually exploitative manner.’

He addressed the allegations for the first time on a SiriusXM podcast in December 2021.

The star blamed his infidelities and inappropriate behavior on sex addiction, which he turned to after quitting alcohol as a teen.

‘It’s such a powerful drug,’ he explained. ‘I got hooked on it for 20 more years. The insidious part of that is that I stayed sober from alcohol all that time.

‘And I went to meetings all that time. I even tried to sponsor other people. So in my head, it was like, “Oh, I’m sober. I’m living a spiritual life,” where on the side, I’m acting out now in all these other ways, and I couldn’t see it.’

James said he has been in sex addiction recovery since 2016 and has ‘been doing a lot of work’ to change.
